Micro Arc Oxidation on HTC One S

To create the extremely durable, premium finish for HTC One S we use a process called micro-arc oxidation. Originally designed for use on satellites and race cars, the process starts with aircraft aluminum. Ten thousand volts of electricity hit the metal, almost like lighting strikes, causing a microscopic transformation which creates a super-strong ceramic case that is five times stronger than aerospace aluminum.

HTC One X Review

PhoneArena presents a video review of the HTC One X - the new flagship of the Taiwanese manufacturer. In terms of specs, the HTC One X is a beast - it has a giant 4.7" HD S-LCD 2 screen, the new quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP ImageSense camera... all in all - a lot of stuff to brag about. The phone also comes with the new version of the Sense UI - 4.0, which has been simplified and enhanced for a different, but still HTC-like user experience. However, after testing it thoroughly, we came to the conclusion that the phone isn't as flawless as it seems. Watch our video to find out about its pros and cons! HTC Sensation XL Hands On

Hands on with the HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio Not to be confused with the Sensation XE, HTC is bringing us another Beats by Dr. Dre-equipped device called the Sensation XL and we were lucky enough to go hands-on at CTIA. Immediately you'll notice that, as a whole, HTC's behemoth is a very attractive device; the aluminum gives it a quality feel and the glossy white finish (with ear beats headphones to match) and large 4.7-inch Super LCD display really make widgets, photos and webpages pop -- one thing to note, however, is that the screen resolution is 480 x 800, but I have to say that it was still very beautiful with great viewing angles. On the inside, while not as exceptional as the Sensation XE, the Sensation XL comes with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with HSPA 14.4 network support and an 8-megapixel camera on back capable of recording 720p HD video. Strangely, because this is a device aimed at audiophiles, the Sensation XL only comes with 16GB of onboard storage that is not expandable. Still, the Sensation XL is something music fans, especially those who have experienced Beats technology, will really enjoy. The bad news is that the Sensation XL will never be available stateside, but don't count out a tweaked version of the phone showing up on our shores sometime in the future. HTC Rezound Review

HTC Rezound Review When we got our hands-on the HTC Rezound earlier this month, we came away thoroughly impressed. It's packed with a quick 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, Verizon's 4G LTE and an absolutely stunning 4.3-inch 720p display that gives the Retina variety on the iPhone a run for its money. Two weeks on, and we're happy to report that our opinion of the Rezound hasn't changed in the least. In fact, the device is still surprising us with its quality. While the HTC Rezound isn't the thinnest phone around (13.7mm), it's still a very attractive device. Just as we said during our hands-on, the black and red combo gives the phone a sleek and premium look, and the build materials are top quality. You won't get any of that cheap plastic feel here. With phones like the Droid Razr, Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S II no doubt taking the majority of the spot light this holiday season, the Rezound may unfortunately be a device that goes unnoticed by the masses. For audiophiles, the Rezound is definitely a device to take notice of. Consumers will have some big decisions to make with so many high quality Android phones hitting the market. The HTC Rezound is currently available on Verizon Wireless for $299.99 with two-year contract.
